Jaye Nasir is a poet and writer based in Portland, Oregon whose work blurs the lines between the real and the unreal, between nature and humanity, and between the self and others. Her writing has appeared in many small publications, both local and international. As a high school drop-out, she is still in the midst of a decade-long pursuit of her undergraduate degree, and currently attends Portland State University. Meanwhile, she menaces the public as a service industry worker, Southeast pedestrian, and unusually talkative stranger. She likes ghost stories, yellow flowers, sex scenes, monsters who think they're human, humans who think they're monsters, bodies of water, and being hard to find. Follow her @jayenasir |
